Overview

Volwave falls into the direct-selling domain and operates on a direct-sales business model, where Volwave Business Owners (ABOs) sell products directly to consumers and also earn commissions from the sales made by the distributors they recruit.

What triggered this

For Volwave, users were dropping off during Volwave’s payment journey in the Thailand market because there weren’t enough payment options available, keeping digital wallets, credit, and debits card options didn't cut it, leading us to optimize the purchase path to maximize Volwave’s long-term business success.

Why did we build this for Volwave Business Owners based in Thailand?

  • Volwave Business Owners (ABOs) in Thailand are individual distributors who register to sell products, earn bonuses, and sponsor others.


  • ABOs serve diverse customer bases, so they need multiple payment options like cash, bank transfers, credit/debit cards, mobile banking, and installments.

Giving distributors secure and familiar payment option using Online Banking.

Including a traditional online banking reduced cart abandonment by 23% among established distributors while increasing average order values.

The system integrates multiple Thai banking options with comprehensive order review stages, allowing distributors to verify every detail before commitment while maintaining familiar banking interfaces that build confidence through transparent step-by-step processing and complete transaction documentation.

This method was implemented because established Amway distributors demand maximum transaction security and detailed financial documentation for their business operations, requiring a payment system that mirrors the methodical approach they use in building their direct selling enterprises.

Making in-person sales fast and convenient using Barcode Payment at local shops.

The barcode payment system increased conversion rates by 34% while enabling distributors to process multiple simultaneous transactions, ultimately expanding their earning potential through enhanced operational efficiency during peak selling opportunities.

Barcode payments were developed to eliminate payment friction during face-to-face selling situations, where traditional card processing would interrupt the personal consultation experience that drives Amway's relationship-based business model in Thailand's social environment.

Distributors generate unique barcodes for each transaction that customers scan using their mobile banking apps, enabling instant payment processing without physical card readers while maintaining the personal interaction essential to successful product demonstrations and consultations.

Seamless payments using PromptPay QR, powered by 2C2P’s Integration.

PromptPay integration with 2c2p increased payment completion rates by 41% while reducing transaction processing time from minutes to seconds, enabling distributors to serve more customers efficiently and capitalize on Thailand's mobile-first consumer behavior.

Integrating 2C2P with PromptPay QR sped up transactions dramatically, where 77 million users already use this system, ensuring zero learning curve for customers while providing distributors with instant payment confirmation.

The system generates dynamic QR codes that customers scan with any Thai banking app, triggering immediate bank-to-bank transfers while sending real-time notifications to distributors, eliminating payment delays and enabling instant order processing across touchpoints.
